Transplanting Parts!
So that certian pony pose you love simply doesnt have
a horn or wings, or an extra leg.. lol
Well then you came to the right place!

Materials:
Tacky Glue
Super Glue
Donor pony parts
Xacto Knife or utility knife
Doll ClayBuy some from our store
Some Water

To begin with you have to remove the donor part from the other pony.
You may also make parts out of clay if you dont have a donor pony.
Take the Xacto knife and cut off the part you want. Try and cut more
than you need to begin with. Remember you can remove more later.
In this tutorial I will be giving kimono a horn!

I like to use a mix of tacky glue and super glue when glueing parts on. To begin with work on fitting the part onto the pony before you add glue. Just find out where you want it and if you need to trim it down you can do so. After you have it where you like add some glue try and add it more towards the inside of the object. You can see in the picture I dont have a lot of glue on the outside just a light coat. This is mainly so it doesnt get all over the pony.

Once you have the glue on and your ready go ahead and glue the piece to the pony. I like to hold it for a couple of seconds using lots of pressure to insure a good bond. Once you can see its going to stay in place let go and let the glue dry before moving on

So now your ponys new part is attatched but it just looks like just that an attatched extra part. Well this is where we fix that. As shown above I have some doll clay ready to close up the seem and make the piece look like part of the pony. A little of this stuff goes a long ways so it wont take much!
As you can see I dont have much in my hand thats more than Ill actually need. When using this product make sure to have some water nearby. It drys in the air you will need to keep it moist while your working with it.

Take a little bit of the clay and start working it around the area where the two parts meet. Make sure to wet your finger tip and rub it over the clay this will help smooth it out. Just keep adding clay and smoothing it as you go till you acheive a nice smooth transition.

As you can see after some work it starts to look more like apart of the pony. Now all she needs is paint! You can follow the painting section of our tutorials if you need help painting your pony! You can paint right over this clay once it is dry!

Here she is all finished!
