Preparing the body for customizing
First you will need to get all the materials ready.

You will need the following:

Pliers
Scissors
exacto knife (or utility knife)
Acetone
toilet paper (cotton puffs ), or Qtips
and of course the Bait pony


First you will need to take the head off the body..take your utility knife (or exacto knife)


and cut along the seems. You don’t want to cut too far just until you get to the ring of the neck.
Or what I like to do with BB and newborns I just cut the through the whole thing,
it makes rehairing easier and you can glue the head back on with crazy glue.
When you get almost all the way around you can pry and pull the head off.
This is what you will have.


You will need to take out all the pony hair. Grab you pliers and go through the neck hole
on the body and pull the tail out, it will come out easily enough. Next you will need to take out the mane hair. It will be easier if you cut the hair
(if you don’t plan on reusing it). So give the little thing a mohawk :P
Take you pliers and go up through the neck and pull out the plugs until she is bald.
Now you need to clean up that dirty body so the paint will stick to the body better
and you won’t have chipping. Take your acetone and some toilet paper and clean the whole body.

Try and avoid the eyes, it will make it easier to paint them if you can see them and trace
them in the future. All the dirt and grime will come of easily with the acetone.
Walla you are done prepping the body for painting and customizing!
